Hi folks

Happy New Year !

Anyone got a nearside rear lamp lens going spare ? Had a Mondeo impale itself on my towbar yesterday - have a broken numberplate, lamp and some scratches on the bumper that need painted (Mondeo fared worse due to the towbar)

Cheers

Frank

Frank, a mate mine is repairing Mark one that got similar thump, I have display set of clear lens that he asked me about before Christmas, i know his passenger rear was smashed, give me a shout i have some spares for both sides, you were lucky not to have the number plate surround smashed in the impact they are very brittle, Paul

Thanks Paul, yeah am pleased the plastic is just scratched rather than cracked ! Thank the gods for the tow-bar.

Have you got a standard lamp unit available ? Mine is cracked but useable and still legal, so not 100% urgent.

How much for the unit ?

Cheers

F

Feck! Who was driving the Mondeo Frank? Stevie Wonder?
God I hate people who can't drive properly.

No bother as i said i only have one standard passenger one in stock, my mate that has quoted for an insurance repair usually pays 80 for one as Mazda Ireland take ages to source them and charge double that plus vat, let you know if he takes the clear set leaving me with a pass. one to sell, depends on the insurers allowing him for a complete set, rgds Paul
