Hi lads/gals, I'm on the look out for a set of good secondhand tan leather seats.
The ones I have add to the character of the car, however after the last meet I noticed a lot of the other Tan Seats were in great nick compared to mine.
Any ideas where I might start on this one?

Are they beyond saving?

Ahhhh, the driver seat has about a 2" rip in it!

You see these popping up on Ebay from time-to-time, but I haven't seen a perfect set yet ! They all seem to have rips and wear on the outer bolster.

Wonder if they could be repaired by a proper upholsterer ? Might be better spending e150 on that than gambling on new seats.

I have lost his number, but there was a lad called Simon on the yahoo list who worked for an upholstering company, and he'd be a good person to ask.

Ya I know them. They sent me to the body shop where I got the work done.
Must pop into them during the week.

Medic, If you can source the correct leather i can get a proper prof job done for you, i used to be able to get the stuff but if is getting very difficult now, i think i have a car with an almost mint set i could do something with, however i would need yours in exchange and some money, i would be interested in sharing a hide with you if you can source a small say 3.5/ 4 metre hide to match correctly as i have about 4 drivers seats between my own and customers that could do with a rebuild if we had the stuff. P
