Is it normal OEM suspension? What year is your car again? Where are you located?

Thanks Steve for the offer. Its a 1.6 with zero history so im doing quite a bit. I havent taken off the shock yet as I only discovered it late last night, however it is nothing special. I am going to replace both front shocks complete as I have to get an NCT done. I feel a bit like Tom Hanks in " The Money Pit" but it is a small car. How many parts can there be to replace!?

Springs and shocks should be changed in pairs, it may not be long before the other side goes pop.
