would anyone be available to check the rain rail on my replaced plastic window on an 97 mk 1. leaking badly, will pay. am in wexford 086 3616764

Hi Fiana,

If you can get someone to undo the 13 nuts/bolts under the carpet on the rear deck, you'll be half way there.. then you need to remove the 3 metal clamps (they just pull off as they are held on with the 13 nuts you just removed).
When this is done, ensure the bottom of the rear panel is sandwiched between the two edges of the rain rail. If it does already.. the rainrail is prob cracked somewhere, you'll either need to replace with new or remove the rainrail and repair with ducktape (it'll take 5 mins if you have the metal clamps removed already).
