after doing some reading strut braces on the 5 turn out to be notting more than engine bling

If you plan to lower it, tower braces and cockpit braces are handy, as the MX5 tends to flex quite a bit with the top down and no hard top.

90% of cars an aftermarket strut is fitted to its only for bling

100% true.. under subframe braces are very useful though

Shur most d cars that do need em are track/drag cars hardly no road cars see a real bennifit unless u have top nd bottom struts front and rear nd only then is it slightly noticable on a road car. My ek civic had 4struts along with big arns and solid coilovers i sold all d struts nd it hardly made any difference except when i was racing i didnt notice any difference
