she had 20 feet of room!!!
![]() Re: Classic Red Mk2 Parts Wanted
is she paying for the damage ? if so take it to a good bodyshop and let her pay.....sorry but fuck her for being a careless twat
Re: Classic Red Mk2 Parts Wantedah now dont be like that .. karma
i know she is paying for it but she is like myself skint (living is a s#!thole kinda) i dont want to take it to a body shop cause they will have to spray the car and that is the last resort would like an original classic red door and panel you know ?
![]() Re: Classic Red Mk2 Parts WantedThe paint mite not match you could be lucky but have seen it happen loads
of times that they wouldn match even do they are the Same colour
![]() Re: Classic Red Mk2 Parts WantedThat would drive me nutz
Id have to be guarenteed a match
![]() Re: Classic Red Mk2 Parts WantedBetter to get good bodyshop to match existing colour .any spray painter that is any good will match red exactly by tinting it .As I explained to you earlier parts from another red car may not match exactly despite the paint code. Also usedvpanels may have already be painted.
![]() Re: Classic Red Mk2 Parts WantedHi James,
When I bought my (slate grey metallic) NB it had been keyed the full length of the drivers side. I brought it to a guy I have used before here in Cork for repair as I knew his work. I challenge anyone to spot the areas resprayed. You will never get a perfect match using second hand panels, especially in red. Good second hand panels that don't require any filling and just a respray is what I would be recommending. Paulc
![]() Re: Classic Red Mk2 Parts Wantedwell i have no choice now .. i have to get it sprayed
![]() he said he will spray the front of the door and back of the wing then lacquer the whole side of the car ![]()
![]() Re: Classic Red Mk2 Parts Wanted
avoid the guy who said he will lacquer it SU red is your paint code and does not need a lacquer , if he thinks it does......well...errrr....DERP ![]()
Re: Classic Red Mk2 Parts Wantedhe uses water based paint ?
![]() Re: Classic Red Mk2 Parts WantedWe have a good selection of used mk1 and mk2 panels to choose from.We can go through them and pick out the best.
Re: Classic Red Mk2 Parts Wantedthanks but no thanks .. filler is not my worry paint matching is
