Car Polish. What do you use?I've been doing some research again on car polish but as per usual every one has a a different answer when it comes to what they think is the 'best' car polish. So I own a navy(mentioning the colour as darker cars are apparently harder to polish) mk2.5. I've been using Mer liquid polish but want to know what ye guys use on yer 5's! I have a buffer so don't mind if its a paste or liquid. My local motor factory is getting in Smartâ„¢ Polish but I wonder will the result justify the price. A polish which leaves a high gloss and helps removes water marks and imperfections is the ideal product!
Re: Car Polish. What do you use?The Menzerna range gets excellent reviews and comes in many different grades so you can choose how heavy a cut you're looking for. Though I haven't used it myself.
D&D Detailing sell it and are great to deal with. Are you using a DA or a rotary?
Re: Car Polish. What do you use?Plain old rotary. I'll look into them thanks! Its just I've done so much reading and all I gather is some people seem to think even the cheap waxes and polishes are only fractionally worse than top spec! Thanks for your input though!
Re: Car Polish. What do you use?You could also say, if someone can't use a machine, it doesn't matter what polish you use, you'll still get the same result. Definitely have a chat with them anyway, they have always been a great help to me. Tell them I sent you.
Re: Car Polish. What do you use?Don't worry I know that too haha I get good enough results from what I use now and the method I've been using(Well I'd like to think so anyway...) Just want to see can I improve and get even better results! Will do! Cheers for that!
