With a non-standard front bumper and exhaust.
Went for a spin today down to Kinsale. Came back down airport hill and turned onto the link towards Wilton, went around the roundabout that turns off to Bandon but headed back to Douglas, was planning on just going home but came back to the roundabout in Wilton and there was a Mk2 or Mk2.5 two cars ahead topless.....so I decided to have a bit of fun
Seems he had some 'alternative' exhaust or end can fitted as there was a rasp off it
He turned off to take the exit for Kinsale/Airport Hill and I went over the bridge again. I think he gave a wave when I went past but I'm not sure....

i certainly wasnt in racing mode but i did have a big smile on my face when i pulled off to head home at the kinsale rd roundabout exit. that was a wave of appreciation by the way!! thats a lovely roar off the car, glad i got to hear it. mine was a k&n typhoon with the standard exhaust. whats this about ur car being way faster than my car??? maybe a turbo and some other mods might have something to do with that acceleration? anyway good to kinda meet u fergus. loved the car and that sound is something else

It's structural integrity was always in doubt anyway !!! It's regularly
closed for maintenance.....

I was playing with the bypass vavle hence the car wasn't 'always' screaming down the road
It was pure chance bumping into you and it was great to blast along with another 5 again !
Yeah we'll have to sort out another Cork run before the weather turns to crap....again.
