Very fit black MX5 spotted parked beside my sweet little roadster, outside Total Fitness gym in Castlenock/Blanchardstown last week.

Had a new set of wheels crammed inside!

I was sure I recognised the car, but couldn't place the owner.

Now I'm embarassed 'cos I tucked a note under their windscreen - but they never rung me, and now probably think I'm a nutter......

There was a plan some time back to have business cards with contact details that we could put on other 5's, seems that to do such a thing would have you falling foul of our litter laws..it's a great little country we have

That was would have been our car (myself and maninblack).

We’d just bought our car a few days (not even a week) and some ‘unsavoury character’ decided they would swipe the lovely alloys we had on. We came out in the morning to find the poor wee new car on blocks! Raging was not the word.

We got a temporary set of Mazda MX5 wheels (which we are selling again incidentally) but bought a nice new set to replace the stolen ones – hence the crammed wheels inside our wee MX5.

I think Cathal thought the card was an advertisement, sorry about that. So no-one thinks you're a nutter! Hee hee!

My wee girl looks quite shy, being chatted up by that wide-eyed young buck...

Pity her owner couldn't take a leaf out of her log-book..
