What is it with Female mx-5 Drivers ?

I have seen many ranging from MK1 to Mk3 and when I flash :oops:

they look like a rabbit in the head lights and I drive passed thinking..Hmmm next time I will check to see if it's a bloke driving before I say hello :evil:

+1 on the wimmin in their 5's. I was in traffic there the other week with the top down and saw another 5 with a lady at the wheel with her hood down.....i'd say she was 40ish.........I gave her a wave and a smile to show mutual respect etc, and she blanked me..........like I know i'm not Brad Pitt

I must say i always get a wave from the ladies when i flash them!

They usually wave down a cop car and i floor it!! :lol:

Before i knew how to get onto this forum I was on the www.mx5.com site ranting and raving about being ignored out there!! I went off for my own wicklow run yesterday....saw two mx5 (mark 1) and ....nothing!!

Ha ha ha ha ha...............

I am no longer a wave virgin!!! Today in Bray a man in a red mark 1 (90 D I think) waved back at me.
Not quite sure if he meant it......I was staring then did brief gesture ( to see if he was one of us or 'them' - non-wavers) and he returned it.

Though.........he did have a look of "do I know her?" on his face!

OH well......a wave is a wave!

White Mx5 mk 1 coming against me today in Douglas Cork
Female yummy mummy driving it so I says to my self ..self don't bother yer arse saluting her.. them all of a sudden SHE takes the lead and gives me a non chalant How ya salute ... So I acknowledge her with a thumbs up

Lads ye have to come West! Last week or two seen a clatter of 5's in Galway, EVERYONE of them flashing or waving! Pulled up at lights another 5 pulled along side, and we chatted til lights changed......complete stranger! Even then English tourists in 5's flash! Must be the air????

That could have been the white one that parks down the road from my place sometimes...
I've 'worked' on a few of the white ones around Douglas, think they should be waving already :lol:
