In Penmarc'h (Brittany) this morning. Only after i took the photo did i spot the wheels - steelies with wheel covers. Also, something else I'd never noticed before, the aerial is located on the passenger side (beside the fuel filler cap) whereas on MK1s it's on the other side.

Yes - in France (and not seeing many MX5s on the roads). Yesterday and this morning were overcast, but pleasantly warm - then this afternoon the clouds parted and it was lovely blue skies and early 20's...... perfect weather for some roof down motoring in the Mazda (but unfortunately I'm in a rental Peugeot 2008).

We're heading there and beyond in just over a week's time.
Stalking an NB in Germany back in May:
And an old 911 outside Hannover:

That's kilometers on the speedo so it probably looks worse that it was !
We are headed to Europe via the UK in our VW T5 (camper). We have no plan really but, if the weather is nice, we might spend two days is south England before crossing over to France. The Italian MotoGP is on while we're away so we were thinking of heading towards Italy for that. But we have to agenda really except to avoid the rain. We both love France to so we'll be spending some time there at the very least.
Have you been based around Brittany for you're holiday ? I love it there.

We stayed on the coast near Penmarch.
Sounds like you have a nice road trip planned. As you're goo g to Italy might you consider Miataland (
www.miataland.it) - as covered in the current edition of Total MX5. Now there's a gut who ADORES the MX5.
