Took a trip to Belfast yesterday for some bonding time with my daughter. Decided to let her drive the 5 home, it was around 22.00ish. We were just past Banbridge when she got pulled by the NIPD for taking a bend a little too hard and fast. Now........ my daughter can be a little bit of a smart arse at times(Medic5, isnt she?), and especially if she's getting tired. and she was a HEAVY right foot!

The conversation went a little something like this:

Her to me as she rolls down the window: Here comes the stripper...
Her: Evening Guard
Policeman: Officer.
Her: Sir.
Policeman: Do you have any idea what speed you were doing?
Her: about 110ish..
Policeman: 113 actually.
Her:Oh..... sorry about that, really i am.(followed by sad face)
Policeman: any idea what would've happened if this was december, you were doing that speed and ya hit mist or ice?
Her:.................i would've tapped on mister brake?
Policeman: what? are you being smart?
Her: ohhhhhhhh..... mist OR ice....
Policeman: BIG smile, laugh, "Go on...keep the speed down petal"

and off he went on his merry way!

and i was left in the passenger seat what the hell had just happened and then, wondering would i have got away with it had it been me!!!!?? women eh? (JOKE) :L

I take it you were using kmph as opposed to mph???
