Just back from a two and a half week spin to the south of France. Took the west coast route down to a little town called Marseillan on the coast where we spent a wonderful week. we returned with a direct route through the middle of the country (by-passed Paris because of the tractor protest...) to Cherbourg. We camped a few nights, along with B&B, mobile home, and hotels. A pin hole in the radiator was the only mechanical fault, which our B&B land lady got sorted at the local garage in Gnat.
1950 miles and nearly as many stories. looking forward to the next trip.

Did you make any trips to Montpellier or the surrounding region ? The Millau bridge is about 1.5 hrs from there as well.
Fine sized tent you have there !

This looks and sounds like a great trip
We did a France / German trip in the 5 last June and also camped for moat of it , when they are packed correctly they will take an amazing amount of stuff , our tent was a similar size go yours a vango beta 350 xl
Did you have air con or did you do without ? I ask because the thing we found was that in the afternoon the sun beating down was just too hot on the car , we of course went with roof down all the time ! :D
Here is the wife camping and tasting the local grog
