Hello,

I am presently looking at purchasing a 1991 or 1992 MX5 and I have made inquiries regarding car insurance.

Carole Nash who I have insured two cars (Wolseley 1500 and Rover P6) say they will not insure a MX5 and Fbd are same

Can anyone advise where the best place is for MX5 insurance.

Thanks

Autoline coleraine, can't find the phone number for them but they looked after me . She didn't ask if it was an import so I didn't say it was. €232 limited to 1500 miles per year but you can get higher mileage allowance .
They did want details of the insurance on the daily driver, ie: policy number, type of cover etc, also membership of a vintage/classic car club ( they didn't look for proof of membership )
Found a phone number but I think it either works or you change the 028 to 048

Autoline will also let you put up to 4 cars on your policy. First car around €200 and €40 each after that. Thats how it was last year when i had 2 cars.
