Wideband O2 sensor location?Can I use new o2 sensor in the same place as the oem one or should I get it moved closer to the cat to get more accurate read? Thanks

Re: Wideband O2 sensor location?are you putting in a turbo or supercharger? Think you mentioned a supercharger at some stage yeah?
If so, then yes, no harm in moving it further away. If not, then just stick with the oem 4 wire sensor.
Re: Wideband O2 sensor location?It's a supercharger. Have Ms3 and got aem wideband in today. Makes sense to move it down really and will give a chance to wrap headers as well.

Re: Wideband O2 sensor location?I would just replace the existing sensor. Sure it doesn't do harm to move it further, but it doesn't help either, so no point for the extra hassle of adding a bung.

In an n/a car, is it ok to just throw it in where the oem O2 sensor is? I cant see why not, just making sure.
Re: Wideband O2 sensor location?Yes, no problem. If you intend to run the wideband with the stock ECU, most of THE Wideband kits have a narrowband-style output so you can keep the feedback to the stock ECU
