What size injectors are you going for?

You don't need a Walbro, stock pump is fine.

You'll need a serial or usb link box + DataLogLab, laptop or PDA for tuning altho.. you could do the majority via the keypad if you don't mind inputting the fuel/timing tables (if your injectors aren't 440cc or 550cc).

Electronic Boost Controller

1.8 Diff (but can be left till the 1.6 gives up the ghost)

Stronger Clutch (Act clutch is good)

You'll have some rewiring to do too (ECU and injector harness).

Redline MTL in the gearbox

And... sort out your brakes ;-)

Ops I forgot to add in the AEM Wideband I have already.
I was thinking of the Rx injectors.

Yeah I had forgotten that larger injectors mean no need to change the pump.
Totally forgotten about the clutch to.

So I need an EBC.
Will the 1.8 Diff handle 10PSI ok ?

FM has both, they work well.

RX7? 520cc or so? I'd recommend getting either 440cc or 550cc as there are 2 pretuned maps in the link which FM spent lots of rolling road time on. If you change the size/type of injectors you get into all sorts of messing about with dwell/cold starts/summer&winter starts/retuning most of the table to compensate (I've been through it with my 390cc injectors).

The 1.8 diff will handle it fine unless you reaaally abuse it.. you don't hear about too many 1.8 diffs breaking.

Nice one! Did you get them from RC?

The loom and connectors are the same as the '5s injectors, just be sure the loom is wired for sequential injection (2 new wires need to be run from the ECU to the loom).

O-Rings...I know nadda about O-Rings except the metal ones, you can use the old ones if you put them in backwards/upsidedown etc, they last just as long that way as the original ones, they even work BETTER.
BUT if their rubber then I know nadda

Def get a set of o-rings for the injectors (yup, rubber ones) .. oil em up before fitting or you could tear them.. last thing you'll want is a fuel leak after all your work! ;-)

Are these them.... http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info. ... ts_id/1311

I've got temp and knock sensors on the way from the states right now.
How much boost are the 440cc injectors good for ? What's the limit etc ?

Also, about the 1.8 diff.
I'll be needing the 1.8 diff, half shafts and prop/drive shaft...is that all ?
What's all this about "long nose/short nose" stuff ?

Yeah, they are like those ones, but I think they are specific to the RC injectors (plus I think there are 3 per injector.. ).

As for boost.. depends on your setup, 15psi isn't unheard of.. see this page for info on setups and dynos : [url]
