buying turbo setup

hi all looking at getting tubs kit of someone there looking for 2,000. comes with injectors intercooler tg04 tuba struvo manifold, downpipes only thing its missing is Wideband which I think is needed ? don't know a lot about turbos so just wondering is this a good price thanks

forgot to say it also comes with megasquirt 2 ecu

many miles on it do you know?
Any play in the turbo? See if you can give the compressor wheel a wiggle, google this before you go see it.
Which injectors?

haven't been down to see it he says he's had it on car 3 years, is the Wideband essential ? as he's been using it without one. thanks

If you take the car for a dyno tuning session they will use their own to set the parameters in the ECU, you might be able to tune offboost values with your existing narrowband sensor but it won't handle boosted values.
For the price of them, I'd get one. Might be no harm to budget for a clutch and possibly a diff in the not so distant future too ;-)

Get the wideband.

2k is very reasonable for a full kit. Running without a wideband is risky for the engine not the turbo kit.
