Well guys I am just after some major spinal surgery so hubbie says I must look around for a more PRACTICAL car etc etc.....So I looked and I found .....wait for it.............. a mark3 mr2 smt that I owned some years back and loved. Yes very practical I know ha ha, however with alot of .... of course I can use your car when i need to etc etc ( oh the power of a womans persuasion ha ha ) I got my way and bought the mr2 back. Of course there is no way I am getting rid of my beautiful 5 ( biased I know ) but I will be parking her up for a while to drive the more PRACTICAL MR2 for winter. So my stripey 5 has just had four new shocks, full underseal wax, and service and is being stored for a while. Only wish I could afford to insure both......but I guess that would really be pushing my luck ha ha.

Of course thats all fine til it comes to Xmas shopping in an MR2 ......Knickers and toothbrush job!!!!

I've owned both those cars and I reakon an Mx5 is more practical than an MR2 Roadster any day But good luck with it all the same.

oh God I know the 5 is by far the more practical .......defo no argument there. My problem is I am a car fanatic .........Both Mad and BAD!!! the only way I am getting away with this is the mr2 is fresher thats why I hope less issues for winter etc. Thanks for well wishes guys.

Hey hilly, thought u might go for the mk 3!! Well wear in ur renewed ownership..must have a gawk, I nearly ended up wit a mr2 instead of the 5. give me a text if ur about someday.

certainly will .....not back driving yet but won't be long ....she needs some cosmetic stuff doing but that will keep me busy for the winter. Hope you keeping well and that I will be welcome at runs etc in my change I promise to keep at the back ha ha .....still officially love my stripey baby 5 so she getting pampered for winter in nice shed. She is going NO WHERE......
