I installed stainless brake lines recently and love the feel/response.
I've talked to the original supplier and he'll do another group buy for us,
prices are :

For a full 5 line brake + clutch set it will be 140USD (105e-ish)

Clutch lines will be 40USD on their own (it replaces the slave's curly line and the rubber line).

Mk2/NB Sport brakes front hoses only (no fittings) 35USD.
Mk2/NB Sport brakes front hoses only (with fittings, crush washers etc) 50USD.

Shipping, depends on the number of lines ordered etc... but should be around 15USD.

The last group buy orders will be taken on Fri 14th May.

They are custom made by a shop in the US, no website I'm afraid.
They are dot approved stainless COATED lines and are a direct bolt in replacement.

My on-line distributor sells these 5 lines set for 180 shipped to the continental US. We specficially priced these to beat everyone's pricing...

you get 4 brake lines all the fittings and a clutch line all the fittings, new hardware etc...

read the threads to see why our multipiece design is superior...

also they don't come loose on you like, some of the cheaper alternative out there... etc etc etc....

just wanted to give you a heads up on the HEL lines.

the good:

1.they have a life time guarantee.

we have a 1 year guarantee against manufacturer defect. in other words if you improperly install them and shear a line in half while drifting, we won't cover it (you make think this will never happen, guess again... lol...) because the margins are tight as it is, everything is hand inspected by me before it ships, and because of the costs associated with replacing, if there is even a question of defect or improper manufacturing i will not ship it... we have very high qc....lol...

2. they offer multiple colors including hot pink.

we only offer black and clear.

the bad:

1. they have metal fitting at the ends of each line.
this is bad for several reasons, you want a little flex in the line at all points, look at the oem ones, and they are rubber all the way to the ends. we used the dot approved rubber fittings.

2. they use one piece lines,
our lines are designed in three piece format, there is a fitting that goes onto the caliper, there is a fitting that goes on to the chassis (i.e. the hard line), this has several advantages especially in the maintenance and replacement of parts...
for example, steve upgraded to nb sport brakes which require a slightly longer line, any other line kit would require the comnplete replacement of the line, our stuff you can just replace the lines, and reuse the fittings that are attached to the caliper and the hard line, which leads to a substantial savings and ease of disassemblely and installation.

3. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT THEY DO NOT INCLUDE A DISTRIBUTION BLOCK FOR THE REAR OF THE CAR.
If you look at the stock lines, the passenger side rear brake line and distribution block is one piece. this distribution block can not be separated from the line, and it feeds the driver side rear... so i don't know how the hell you would install that without the distribution block, we provide a 1 piece all aluminum distribution block that goes and works with the stock hardware and stock location for the disto block.

4. no clutch line
We also include a clutch line in our kits which deletes the curly q hard line... in other words, if you pull the motor or tranny, with stock and or any other line set you, you just have to worry about the hard line, removal of the soft line, removal of the curly qu bracket... etc etc etc... with ours, you just disconnect at the fire wall and the motor and tranny are ready to come out... if you are pulling just the tranny, you can unbolt the clutch master cylinder and thats it, nothing else to worry about....

5. customer satisfaction...
it's one thing to read about awesome lines, and its another to see someone who you know have them and vouch for them... honestly, the quality of our lines is upthere with the goodrich sets, ours just costs less, i.e. you get the clutch line with the set. between my friends and i, we tried several different sets of lines before deciding to come up with our own... the reason being is that there is nothing of quality out there (besides the goodrich lines the only negative about them.. the ONLY negative thing about them is price....)

one other thing is we stand behind the products that we distribute...
i drove 2 hours to help someone with the installation of his hard lines, (he didn't tighten them enough and complained about fluids leaking... if you read through the turbo miata posts you will see what i'm talking about... lol...)

also we have a new product out, cams... both for 1.6 and 1.8 motors (excluding the 99 and higher, no real need for those heads because of the vvt), we offer stage 1 and stage 2, i have a stage 1 installed in my 1.8 swap 1.6 car, and it passes smog in california, these cam specs are often referred to as cheater cams in the spec world, because they idle and sound like stock until you hit 4k+ on the rpm range, and then they freaking scream, your butt dyno will tingle like there is no tomorrow with these! lol...

we offer customer loyatly, anyone who puchases anything from me gets a minimum of a 10% discount on any of the subsequent products that we come out with... lol...

we do this because we are car guys and want to help the car scene, making money and profit is ironically enough a secondary goal... we all have jobs and don't need to deal with the hassle and or stress of this except to bring legit reasonably priced parts to the community... in other words, you can get cams for under three hundred as part of our launch... who else do you know who can make that as a claim, and if you send us your cores to us, the price goes down even further... we haven't set a price point, but we are damn near close to 2 even with the cores... lol...)

The hoses for the larger front calipers are longer. The rears are the same.
