Cool video Pete, some cool choice of songs on there, suit it well.
I'm with Ivan though Sea sickness ahoy.
Looks bloody freezing a lot of the time too.

Hi all,

Cheers for the comments, it was a pretty amazing trip, the windiest round ireland race on record, the sunny bit lasted for half a day and apart from that it was blowing 40 - 50kts the rest of the time.

It's my 2nd round ireland, the first one was on a flat out carbon race boat & took 6 days (light wind the whole way) we did it this time in 4.5 days on a big old caravan of a cruising boat, we did the entire west coast in 24 hours.

As for aas the seasickness goes, it's just a matter of getting used to it, but I've been sailing all my life & have over 3000 miles of offshore experience (in the last 4 years) including 2 round ireland races, Ireland to Spain, bits of N.Africa, Greece & Italy, on top of that I race small sportsboats in the Irish National championships & was also in the European championships a few years back.

Almost forgot to mention that the girl on the boat is my babe, Emma & I proposed on the finish line, even though we hadn't washed or cleaned ourselves in over 4 days she still said yes, now that's love for ya :D
