Well Teena, my girlfriend at the time was a blonde nurse, when I was showing her the car I pointed out that it had a sunroof, she just smiled and quipped "hmmm, more leg room!"

DISCLAIMER - not my old volvo above , LOL , but did something similar on an old red mk2 golf van.......LOL - those were the days indeedy..... :lol: :lol:

First & best was a 1978 Vauxhall Chevette 1,3, 2dr hatch - absolutely brilliant (white) - bought in 1982 from a neighbours wife - it was pristine. Amazing road-holding & built like a tank. Remember once racing a BMW 316 & 520 from Scarriff to Killaloe (when u could road-race "legally") - wiped the floor with them. Ah yes.... those were the days!

Very nearly bought one of those once... I think yer man in Wards garage put a V8 in one recently... (Wards is the one on the New Line yeah?)
