Forget the figures Shane but the 1.8 exhaust cam has more lift and more duration(stays open longer). It (the exhaust cam) is very similar to the inlet cam spec in the mk2 RS engine . Idle is slightly lumpier but hardly noticable. Hence the so called exhaust-intake-mod. Your just using tried and trusted standard cams to give free power.Cant be done on the 1.6 due to the CAS being on the intake cam.
