vote yes did we? ;-)

Or maybe good oul democracy will win out and they'll ignore us and implement it in the rest of the EU, much like they did with passing it in France and Holland, the voters said no, the government took out some asthetic articles and then passed it anyway!?!?!?
(I know they can't its just for the sake of discussion ;-) )

That was one of my main reasons for voting NO. (decided on the way into the polling station)

It just didn't feel like democracy. Despite what the frog faced foreign minister might say, I reckon the actual people of Europe will thank us. Possibly even me personally.

I'm all for the EU but not am overly federalised Europe. It's good to have different countries and cultures. Where would you go on holidays

Vive le difference!

I'm glad we voted no. It's as good a statement of our independence as we can give to the Europeans....

And another thing to be proud of is the fact that we had a referendum..........unlike many fellow EU citizens that did'nt get a chance to vote on their countries future eu direction.

That I'am thankful for.

However, I will go PYSCHO if they call another and try to get a YES vote in the back door.
