I have to say i am still well pissed off over this.
I am on this list 5 years or so.
Nearly everybody knows what i do.
I feel i put a bit of effort into this club (tech days at my place)
Yet you go off and pay for stickers from the UK when you could have got them here.

And to by the looks of it they are not made so the order could have been canceled yesterday.

Really really pissed off.

To be honest i don't give a fuck if i upset the club over stickers.

It's nothing to do with stickers, it's to do with pissing on a fellow member of the club.
Or am i not a member now because i don't have an mx5?

Ivan it's nothing personal and of course you are still a member of the club without an mx5. You do put in effort to the club but there is no reason that others can't do something aswell.
The stickers were being made yesterday & paid for so not really an option to cancel the order. I'm sure you would agree that you would be pissed off if someone cancelled an order with you as they were being made.
No one is trying to piss you off, as it has already been explained myself and steve were getting tow stickers from this guy in the uk, whilst we were at it steve said he would like to get a website sticker for his qtr light. I said yeah that would be cool i'll get one. Then we said maybe others might like them aswell so we would order 30. Now honestly i didn't think oh i want 4 tow stickers i'll give Ivan a shout and my apoligises for that Maybe i should have but from your post that you linked to yesterday with a qty of 300 i get the drift that you might not be interested in small single sticker orders.
I'm not having a go and I'm sorry that you are pissed off but again it was nothing personal against you its just the way it happened.

Sorry ash i can't help but take it personal.
As i said yesterday the comments i made were last january, things where different then.
I was at the time suggesting the cheapest option. 60cent each.
I put that post up yesterday to show that people knew what i did.

Again it's not about the stickers, it's about being a club and asking (what i consider to be good friends) first.
And it's not just that it was something for your car, I'll have to look at then on everybodys car for the next god knows how long.

Hi All,
Well, I've been watching this for the sideline for a bit now, and thought I'll not say anything but I'm uneasy about it..........quite uneasy.
Reason being is that i'm self employed too like Ivan, and in the unlikely event of the club ever needing "media consultancy" or "Strategic Music Testing" - well, I'd like to be asked first - in that respect - Ivan does have a good point.
The same way if we needed Chocolate, I think it would be right and proper to Ask John Leamy as he's in that business.
And Ivan did make posts showing interest- last Jan, he has proven that.
Also, it will be a pain in the ROCKS for Ivan to see all the stickers on everyones cars, surely everyone can agree with that - its not the order/profit stuff etc, its the principle.

Therefore Steve, I respectfully Cancel my order for stickers....sorry.
I don't want to be involved any further in this discussion but thats just my 2 cents.
Nor do i want a row or any rancour in respect to my post here.

Rgds,

Ollie.

This wasn't intendeed to upset or offend anyone. I thought it would be a nice thing to have for the club. I took it upon myself to order the stickers and pay for them accepting the fact that if they didn't sell then i would get stuck with them and be at a loss. My choice and i stick by that.
To be honest it didn't even cross my mind that Ivan could do the stickers if it had i would have asked him but is every member on here expected to ask on here before ordering anything incase it steps on someones toes.
I mean fair enough along with a 1000 other things it was propably somewhere in my head that Ivan did printing work but what if a new member who had no idea what anyones job is decided to go a get something done then they surely couldn't be expected to know any differnet.

Can i also add that Robin, ollie and everyone else involved is doing a great job in organising a major run to the isle of man next year. This will bring a lot of attention to our site and at the minute i would be embarresed if a vistor came to the site and saw this kind of thread.

At the end of the day the stickers were ordered in good faith. If people can't accept that then fine I've other things going on in my life that are far more important to worry about. Also if anyone else would like to back out of their order then that is fine with me. I would hate to upset anyone else by doing something that i thought would be benifical to the club.

I wont try to do anything again I promise.
