downloaded the new U2 album.....
Can some one explain what all the queing in town over night was about?
First album i have bought in years and years....i'm getting old

Agreed. Those blokes need their heads examined. But i guess to them, its tradition.
They would have been much more comfortable "queing" up virtually in the comfort of their own home computer in their PJ's and a cuppa!

What d'ya think of the album?
I thought the 1st 3 songs aren't bad.. but so far I think Kings of Leon are doing it (rock based "big" tunes) better these days... will give it a few more listens.

Haven't had a proper listen yet, it's just on in the background.
But i did notice one of the tracks is an hour long!

Dunno which song it is, but one particular track that's been getting airplay lately is very reminiscent of the Floyd, particularly the guitar solo part of it.... must get the album to figure out which song it is. Still, glad that U2 are still up there.
