I reckon if someone could come up with a mattress that's both comfortable and secure enough to keep your money under without fear of theft/fire etc., they'd be very wealthy before long

Yes, all CU's are covered - but seeing you have over 100k in there Steve, you're NOT!

I also thought that CUs were for people only. This crowd seem to have been lending for business as well.
I'm probably going back to the old days when I opened my account with my communion money.

been involved in local CU for years & would've always extended loans to small business etc - even "builders"... but always a rolling credit facility as opposed to large wads of speculative cash. Sounds like these boys went "Anglo"
