A teenager in the US is facing trial for rapping his order at a McDonald's drive-through.

He and three friends got in trouble with police last month after they pulled up at a McDonalds near Salt Lake City and copied a video on 'YouTube'.

But they were rapped by the authorities for disorderly conduct.

One of the group has gone to court to fight the citation saying McDonalds claimed their antics were holding up the queue.

But he argues no one was behind them.

His lawyer said kids have a right to sing their order.

A trial has been set for January but it's expected to follow similar lines of someone fighting a speeding ticket.
