we will rock youwent to this show in the 02 yesterday evening, and it was brilliant. a lot of kids there but the show is without doubt only for adults. very funny and really enjoyed it and then hit the pubs and had a great night. a lot poorer this morning, a pint here 3.80 and last night i was paying between 4.70 and 6 euro.
Re: we will rock youI don't partake but I noted that the pint was only €2-40 in Italy so lots of happy Irish were having a ball.
Re: we will rock youWe Will Rock You....
I went on opening night. Absolutely fantastic.. for all the wrong reasons! Two minutes into the show the power failed and they had to bring down the curtain, same thing happened with the mics close to the end. But the cast were trying so hard to push through, they got the audience on their side and it was hysterical. Full house stamping their feet and screaming "show will go on" and "we will, we will, rock yooooou" - all in good spirit. Girl came out front to apologise, and was drowned out by a hundred voices calling ... "we can't hear you". Absolutely hillarious. Show's good too, music's great, lots of little suprises, and many many gags... had tears rolling down my cheeks at one stage. (story is a bit of a farce) but it didn't really matter. Highlighted the sheer genius of Queen's lyrics, they still hold true today against a backdrop of Twitter, Facebook and MX5 Ireland.... ! Climbed Elbrus, Island Peak, Kilimanjaro, Elgon, Everest BC, Mulhacen, Elgon, Kayaked the Liffey to the Nile, swam the Liffey, the Lee & packed ten triathlons into a year... catch me blogging on: http://www.teenagates.com
Re: we will rock youyea, heard they had teething problems on opening night, but all sorted by saturday.
