Re: What was the first single you ever bought??????Jeez, the photos in that one bring back bad memories from childhood
I still get a chill when I hear that song "The cat's in the cradle...". Probably only us Nordies will understand the significance though Anti-terrorism 'advert' they showed on UTV in the '80s "wouldn't it be great if it could be like this all the time" heh heh It's a small world after all. It's a small, small world
Re: What was the first single you ever bought??????posted the link without looking at it. Appologies if anyone offended.

Re: What was the first single you ever bought??????No offense at all !! Just funny how music and images bring back, not just memories but other things too.
Like that "Cat's in the cradle" thing - seriously, shivers ever time. And Van Morrison's "Days like this" does the opposite - they put that on UTV at about the same time as the other one, and it showed a Protestand kid and a Catholic kid having fun on a beach, not knowing each others background etc. It ended in the phrase "Wouldn't it be great if it could be like this all the time" - you have to say it in a Nordy accent though LOL It's a small world after all. It's a small, small world
