Skid Marks...

Postby TeenaG » Sat, 27 Nov 2010 11:54 +0000

It's that time of year again... it would appear.

Looking for your snowy road snaps for the 98FM Website...

Pretty please... gif or jpeg... post 'em here, and I'll knick 'em.

Nice shots lad... Gonna get even more spectacular before the week is out. Would love to see more wintry scenes from around the country.

This morning I surrendered my '5 to the weather and trotted up to Dublin airport to repeat last year's adventure & rent out a 2litre, turbo, diesel, 4X4 Xtrail... it's not a permanent betrayal, just a little dalliance with the dark side, while the white stuff's around, and it allowed me to get to Wicklow to walk in the hills....

The big old Xtrail dwarfs my little '5 in the background... but it made it possible to go here:

Incredibly beautiful up in the Wicklow Hills today...

Out and about today in the estima.

It was ridiculous I couldn't even walk on the road and this thing just cruised along.

The five is going nowhere sliding away to it's heart content

Oh nice.. I haven't seen one of them before. 2litre presumably? or more? Is it 4-wheel drive?
