Eunos Roadster superior?

Besides the obvious extras like air con, electric windows, flare, bose sound system etc
Is the jap imported eunos roadster considered a far superior product all round to its UK or irish mx5 counterpart?
Or even the US miata?
For example the body on an eunos roadster seems to be generally better rust wise than UK counterpart for same year.
Is this really due to the non use of salt on Japanese roads or is it just better rust proofing during manufacture?
Were the UK cars built on the same assembly line as Japanese cars?

And ultimately if ever buying a 5 should people always insist on eunos roadster?

In my humble opinion Do Not buy any UK mx5 unless you want to have a ball of rust.Irish or jap are grand.Jap has better by far of the two specs ie, aircon etc and most jap are almost mint bodywise.

I don't think it's anything to do with production, all to do with the life it's had. Salt on the roads causes rust, Japan doesn't use salt. Couple that with the fact that a lot of hap cars don't do serious mileage and they will be in better nick every time.

Yeah, I reckon that's the reason too. Sometimes the Japanese cars can come with some nice extras too e.g. Rays wheels, HKS filters, extra bracing etc.
The smaller mileage of the Japanese cars is probably a factor too.
