Resizing pictures

Postby mx5ash » Sat, 19 Apr 2008 9:31 +0000

Its quite possible that most of you know about this but a good few people I've spoken to didn't so i thought i'd stick it up here.

If you go to this link
it will take you to the xp power toy website from Microsoft. Basically a load of free software from micro soft developed after the release of the system.
If you download the image resizer one then when you right click on a picture there will be a new option to resize the picture. It will take a 2mb pic down to about 60kb Thus making it loads faster to email or upload to the web. Obviously this reduces the quality of the picture but it will create a copy if you don't click the option to resize original.
Like i said you may know about it already but 3 people i have spoken to recently never knew about it.
