Advice on buying '08 MX-5 please

Hi all! I'm a noobie, great to see there's a place for MX-5 enthusiasts. I'm trying to become one! Currently looking at a 2008 1.8 soft-top. Originally a UK (Northern Irish car). Anything to watch for? Bodywork in reasonably clean condition and drives beautifully. Thanks in advance

Known fault with excessive oil burning/Good used engines are scarce and very pricey , so read it to that what you want.Get good guarantee or take out extra engine warranty. Other than that nice looking car...

Thanks autocheck! Aww that's disappointing. I thought the oil burning issue was with a previous incarnation of the MX-5.

No sorry ,it is 2006 mk3 onwards.Big time.!!
