Free: fire damaged mk1 roof and rain rail

Postby ciaran88 » Sun, 05 Mar 2017 6:28 +0000

Roof could be useful for parts or refurb. Rain rail is water tight, not damaged by fire.

Collect from south County Monaghan

Was welding underneath and didn't notice flames until it was too late. All good now, replaced it with mk2 roof

I would be interested in the rain rail, as I'm looking to replace my hood in the next couple of months, and my one has a few splits in it. Only problem is I'm in Kerry, although I am regularly in Dublin working if something could be arranged? The other option is I could arrange carriage through Parcel Motel if you think it could be boxed without damaging it?
Let me know what you think, thanks.

Difficult to box up as its brittle and can crack easily. Why dont you just line your existing rain rail with good quality builders plastic (Viscreen) as its better by far .Basically reline the inside ,neatly , and its great job.Obviously 1 lenght is needed and not joined up bits !

Hi CiarĂ¡n, that would be perfect, I'm in Dublin towards the end of the month with work, so could arrange to meet you, if you could PM me your number.
Robert, had looked at doing this after our chat, but mine is pretty bad, so I just think if a better one is available it would make sense to change it, I'll give you a call around the same time as I'm up, do you still have a hood for sale at present?
