Mk1 rear lights-free to a good home

Postby retrothis » Sun, 05 Jan 2014 9:27 +0000

These light came with the car when I bought it in summer 2013. They were the first thing that I've swapped out. The drivers side one was quite badly water-logged.

I tried to dismantle it, dry it out and re-assemble, but I snapped the lens in the process (boooo). I havent looked into sourcing a replacement.
So if anyone wants them, let me know. Ill hold on to them for a week or so.

EDIT: The chrome coating of the water logged light was also damaged where the water collected. So these will probably best be resprayed black.

Yep, I'll pack them up, weigh the package and get an estimate. My wife posts bits and bobs all the time, she seems to think it will not be much.

Edit: just mentioning this again, the lens for one of them was snapped and was discarded. I'll get you an estimate anyhow.

Thanks scallan.

Hey scallan

The lights add up to 1.6 kg, that's 7.50 euro for post... If you are happy, pm me your address.
