As far as i know u swap the crown wheel and pinion over into the 1.8 diff housing. I think the ratio is somewhere around 4.7 or 4.8

Scallan's rite. It involves replacing parts in the diff.
The ratio is 1:4.6 on the European model and 1:4.77 on the US model.

Speedo will be way off. LOL
