Re: How To Hook Up Vacum Pipes With Turbo SetupThat black box looks like a Manual Boost Controller. If so, it should hook up to the turbo vac outlet on one end and the wastegate can on the other. Any indication on it as to which is which?
![]() Re: How To Hook Up Vacum Pipes With Turbo SetupIt looks like its one of these :
http://airinc.thomasnet.com/item/air-va ... /310-12vdc? Also, http://www.boostvalve.com/motorsport.html seem to sell a similar one Might be worth firing them a photo via email and see.
![]() Re: How To Hook Up Vacum Pipes With Turbo SetupYe it's a boost solenoid alryt just don't know where I have to run the vacuum from into it
Re: How To Hook Up Vacum Pipes With Turbo Setup
the solenoid needs to be inline with the boost signal to the actuator.. its a valve that fools the actuator into thinking theres less boost so it opens at a higher boost? thought it needed to be directly from the turbo outlet?? like this ![]() you can put the controller inline with the black hose then
![]() Re: How To Hook Up Vacum Pipes With Turbo SetupIs that a BOV in the 3rd picture ?
In the last picture, why do you have a fuel line connected up to the intake manifold ? That port is suppose to be connected directly to the Cam cover next to it via a PCV Valve http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/valve-mazda-mk1225-p-783.html
![]() Re: How To Hook Up Vacum Pipes With Turbo SetupEBC setup...
![]() Best leave your EBC where it is as it's already wired up and just run longer lines to the turbos wastegate and actuator, less heat where it is located right now.
