Exhaust wraps

Heard some good and bad about them. Does anyone have any experience and know a thing or two? Thanks

Made up my mind. Too many horror stories of cracked elbows and warped flanges etc. Simple heat shield probably will do the job.

Eh, my downpipe is wrapped to reduce heat under the bonnet. It is a great job to be honest. Don't be put off by someone else's experience. Just do it right and you'll be good, make sure it's well covered.

Thanks for the input Randy. Will get some shield made up for now just to stop direct heat to sc.. On a lookout for good headers..will invest more money into those.
