Really depends on what you're going for, what kind of budget, what power you want to achieve etc.

my 1.8 NB is turbo'd using a Megasquirt 2 Enhanced that I got off a fella on another forum.
If you have any questions or need help, I'll be happy to help.

As Randy says, the MS2 is probably your best bet, its easy to find someone with a rolling road to tune it too.
You can contact the guy who builds/supplies them (Reverant) here : http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showuser=4088

I think there's ms2 enhanced on nutz for sale at the moment. If you could get it down even more might be a good buy?

I did mine with a T28 as well. It's probably a fake one, but been on most of a year now with no issues/leaks.
I am currently sitting with around 237BHP/215 torque figures.
The ECU will not be the biggest concern, trust me. You'll have lots of little issues, but overall it's not as difficult as you might think.
As mentioned, Reverent is the man for MS ecu's. I got mine off him, as well as other bits, but he's a bit poor with communication... The boost controller he sold me was a dud and I ended up having to have a bleed valve installed instead for now. He never replied when I contacted him about it..
Sturovo on Nutz is a great contact as well. He builds manifold/downpipe kits, and will also send braided lines for oil feed/return and braided water hoses, as well as the T piece for the oil feed. He will provide you with 2 downpipe options if you're going with the T28; I would advise getting the longer, 80mm one, as it is easier to connect underneath the car. This comes with a V band to make it easily rotatable (I'm also having an issue with this, so I'm just going to get it welded instead).

For bare ECU you're talking around 650 yoyo's, and p+p on top of that. He also supplies IAT sensors and USB fitting if you want them.
Note, though, that that's for a brand new one, built to suit my car. You could get a 2nd hand one cheaper.

As Randy said, new ecu's around 650 +p&p and up! There are some other than ms options available but after some research done it's better to stay with more common and proven ones. As mentioned before Dimitris (Reverant) is the guy for all your ms needs. Second hand do come up for sale on nutz now and then. Ms2 enhanced for £380 from reverant for sale at the moment on nutz. If you're serious about this it's worth a look.
This could be useful too..
