Good Exhaust Guys

Postby Diarmuid » Thu, 06 Mar 2014 11:16 +0000

Hey,
Just wanted to give heads up on great exhaust guys In Trim, Souhan exhaust. I have used them on a couple of things now and the are good on price but their work if top notch, last weekend I got the Mid pipe done to couple up to my IL Motorsport back box and the lads did sport mid baffle and I have to say it sounds fantastic!!! Its not really loud but you know its there.
I just wanted to pass on the contact as they were much cheaper than IL or MX5 Parts.

I would say it would be in the region of 300 or so including the mid pipe. They use Magnaflow exhausts and boxes, I got them put in to my Boxster before and loved it. Best thing to do is call him and he will give you a quote over the phone.

Cannot say enough about Souhan's in Trim. The exhaust on my Mk3 cracked at the back box flange. Following the feedback here I decided to give them a call to see if they could sort it out, they said call over and they would provide the options available. On arrival the lads put the car up on the lift and proposed cutting out the old exhaust section from the back box flange all the way back to the mid box and replacing it with a stainless steel exhaust which needed to be formed around the back axel (custom forming equipment onsite). In total from start to finish the job took 40 minutes, the forming (clearance) and welds are excellent. Following the job the lads brought me out to ensure the job was ok with a summary and considerations for future exhaust replacement considerations was discussed (no short term solutions like some garages). Workmanship 100%. Customer service 100%. :D
