Hi there

great to hear you are almost there. At the start and end of each season I autoglym my softtop. This has protective "schtuff" in it like lubricants etc. It seem to do the job for me. No greeseproof paper nothing, just careful for the last drop to make sure there are no funny kinks in the folds. Not very technical but it's worked the last 2 years for me and I think the top is still looking good.

No need for the hardtop for a while yet tho .. I don't usually put mine on until November and only then if it's really really wet/windy. First year I had the car I drove home from Kilkenny at the end of November, gorgeous winter sunny day, heat on, scarf, gloves and beanie and it was bliss ..

My rule of thumb is a week of rain ..(past the end of October) the roof goes on and I live with the odd good day after that.

Perfect Shenab, thanks. Won't have it for a week or so and the weather is to fairly good for a while yet so will hold off until I absolutely have too. I have that Autoglym stuff for the hood already so sorted...coolio! :D
