Thinking of getting a style bar/roll bar

Postby Paschal » Thu, 13 Nov 2008 7:24 +0000

Thinking of getting a style bar for my 01 Mark 2.5 and I need a bit of advice. I don't like any of the ones on MX5parts, I like the TT style "round" ones but I don't know where to get one and if they fit the 2.5. I think I have a windbreaker!! Its a plastic flap (abount 3 inches high) that folds up. Does this get in the way? Any advice would be appreciated.

Ebay i would say mate,

Not sure if it would fit with your wind blocker Depends on the one you get and how it attaches.
I'm sure you are aware but most of them will provide no kind of protection if the worst happens.

Thanks for that. Its the TT one I want, but look at the delivery prices £60-£75. Would nearly be cheaper to drive to the UK and pick up!!!

Thanks for the help, if you spot one at good value on E bay or the likes, please let me know

Methinks that would be 99p (plus postage) wasted......even at the current exchane rate with Sterling.

They'd make great goal posts for the kids :) or you could buy two of them to take out a REALLY big stereo from a car :)

why bother with a stylebar, your just adding weight with no function. for not much more you could have a rool bar with some solid protection.

this is the one i have.

got it from mx5 mad, it was 300 ish stg, but with the exchange rates at the mo it worked out just over 400 yoyos inc postage. They have great deals on turbos there too, the std greddy kit for 795 stg.
