Finally got off my ass and got on to a garage to fit my bits and pieces :)
Side Skirts (ebay), Spoiler (Steve), Lexus rear lights (mx5 parts), new front bumper (Hilly), rear mud guards (Ollie), clear front indicators, and going to get the car fully resprayed :)

Hope to have it ready for the Galway run :)

:) Well, major trauma in cars upside down at 3am in pitch dark and pouring rain, major medical emergencies with massive heart attacks etc, even childbirth in a shopping centre I can do..............but open the bonnet of a car, and I'm at a loss!
However, the thingy with the yellow pully yoke is defo the dip stick :) Thats the extent of my mechanical knowledge :)

PJ - take heart. I would've considered myself in the same mechanical dunce class & yet here I am after the weekend having put on a new caliper & swapped/replaced brake discs & pads. Just have to do a bit of bleeding now to restore full stopping power. Read the manual - several times, study photos of the job minutely & have the right tools...biggest problem is not knowing what the various "gubbinzes" (thanks stig) are actually called.

2 years ago I never touched the engine bay of a car, apart from the dipstick. Since then I've done so much I've surprised myself, From brake hoses, calipers, drive belts. Fair played to ye PJ once ye start tinkering ye wonder why ye didn't do it before. lookin forward to seeing it in the summer
