Excuse my ignorance chaps - but how long would you expect to get out of a set of shocks - I've noticed that my car is a bit jittery over roads that are slightly bumpy. If I press down on each corner it just goes back up - no continuous up and down.

If I replace them (on my 10AE with Bilsteins) will it be a big job and is there anything I else I should consider replacing at the same time ?

Cheers

Spideog, think you can have the Bilsteins revalved/rebuilt.. don't know how much it costs or where I'm afraid..

Replacing the shocks and springs is lots easier than some of the jobs you've attempted in the past ;-) Even easier if you are replacing springs and shocks at the same time, no fiddling round with spring compressors etc..

Apart from the usual jacking up/jack stands/wheel removal stuff.
