Hope this has not been covered before, there is a square reg plate on the front of my 1998 mark2.

Ita a Jap import and I really want to change it to an standard rectangle style, the square one on it at the minute has a plastic housing

on to which the reg plate is attached and I was wondering if there is a similar unit available fot the rectangle shape ?

Just be careful fitting this unit. It is made from very brittle plastic.

Mine came slightly cracked in the post. I decided to use it anyway, told mx5parts about the problem. They offered me a credit in fairness rather than the trouble of posting back and getting a new one.

Afterwards, a very slight parking nudge cracked the unit again. I don't know why they don't make this from more forgiving plastic.
