im not even going to get into a debate with you
Maybe some genuine stuff comes from china - like your genuine garage vary replica rain rails, your copied jubiride wide arches, nakamae rep quilted carpets etc, etc.
As for those emails you sent to me about buying stuff to "take a look at " and me refusing - i still have them. Would you care for me to post them on here ?
As for nutz, its no secret , its a clique forum and a yes i het bashed on there but it is organised by a few members in the south. you even join the band wagon of bashing me - just to refresh your memory. its not a forum i frequent so i dont worry about what happens there , afterall , its the internet.
How you feel about my comment here is exactly how i feel about nutz , but its the internets so all serious stuff! do what i do marc - build a bridge - get over it!
And for your information marc , i mostly only copy parts that are out of production or stupidly expensive and make them more affordable and accessible to the average joe on the street..
Kindly go back to your Chinese sweatshop and stop trying to be holier than thou... maybe you should try and prove that legit carbon is being used.
After all , considering the price of genuine carbon fibre / epoxy resin .vacuum bagging process / curing , trimming and clearcoating ( which if you were using quality resin should not need done) and the fact you are nothing more than a middle man who employs/ makes use of a sweatshop , so by the time you take your cut , the workshop have covered costs and made profit and considering the prices you charge , i really cant believe you are using genuine carbon twill fabric.
Your process is very labour intensive so something has to give somewhere!
Also i think you claim to be using Japanese carbon fibre , which with the current exchange rates should make your prices more than they are.
It has to be said China hasn't a great reputation for genuine stuff.
Someone somewhere is telling little white lies or maybe the Chinese work for nothing and carbon fibre is super cheap to import from japan to china.
therefore someone somewhere is getting a bad deal, maybe its the consumer ( being told its carbon when its likely not) , maybe its the workers in the sweatshop you use (being paid next to nothing) or maybe its your suppliers for selling stuff super cheap, or maybe ive got you all wrong and you are doing this with little to no profit , a true gentleman just out to benefit the mx5 community.
And yes i do make all the parts i sell and have done for 14 years now - so feel im in a better position than you ( ie a middle man who doesn't actually make anything) to state an opinion on whether something is probably not real, and fair play to you for selling your stuff to hundreds of people...it does looks nice and shiny and if that's all your customers want and they are happy keep buying your stuff, you should keep selling what they want fake or not..you don't need me to tell you that.
And as for slagging you off on the internet, its a 2 way road! i mentioned earlier you joining the nutz crowd bashing me, well- didn't you comment on nutz that my prices for a garage vary rear light panel made from fibreglass was just too expensive at £140 or something on an ebay auction ? i think your comment was £140 for fibreglass..wow..maybe i should start selling on ebay !
I haven't seen you sell fiberglass stuff cheap ever but you are more than happy to comment on my prices ! remember i make all the part i sell myself , i don't rely on a workshop full of slaves that are being exploited!
the parts you have sold on ebay to date have not earned you very great feedback! 87.5% out of 17 transactions
i guess you just need to toughen up and only criticise others if you can take criticism yourself.
