Dent on wheel

Postby leamyj » Wed, 26 Mar 2008 2:30 +0000

Lads, is there any easy way to remove a dent from a wheel?
About two weeks ago I began to notice a vibration when exceeding 100mkph. It was only this weekend that I got a chance to investigate and when I removed one of the rear wheels I noticed the feckin' dent on the inside rim. The wheels need a respray but I wont bother doing that if it's not possible to repair the damage... BUMMER :(

depends on how severe it is...

I know Rynns engineering in Galway used to repair wheels for a very reasonable fee.

Yeah, Rynns at the docks in Galway did an alloy for my on my old car, never gave me any bother. I had cracked the alloy, they took and sorted it for me, no drama!
