Both license plate bulbs need replacement in my Mk 2.5. I ordered a set of W5W T10 LEDs from Amazon (said they would fit in description) but they are too wide and will not 'plug in' to the socket.

Can anyone recommend where I could source 2 LED bulbs that fit the 2 license plate bulb sockets on a Mk 2.5?

I also need info on sourcing OEM bulbs (i.e. Non-LED) just so I have them to get it through upcoming NCT.

Local motor factors will have OEM bulbs just bring old one as sample.I though w5 was correct but I know them as R501 (wedge 12v 5watt bulbs) but being LED they changed the number possibly.
