I started storing mine there but really didn't like the bump on the outside of the roof and it's a bit tricky folding it nicely so it doesn't make this bump.

I thread mine across the bars on the roof and then leave it hanging behind my headrest. It's a bit longer than normal so sits well there and not in my eye sight as it's behind my seat.

Ye Shena - did'nt notice the bump in the roof last night - but obvious this am so have changed as per your suggestion - cheers

I tuck mine under the clasp that holds the roof shut. Works great I don't see it and no bump.
