Hi,

I'm looking to make one of these -
http://rev9autosport.com/shop/product_i ... cts_id=133

So, I've bought a standard long centre console which will be cut to fit and modified.

I need to source the follwoing bits to do it -
Leather or leather effect covering to cover the console when done.
Spray glue (in a can i guess) to apply the covering.
Cool Retro style switches to replace the stock and nasty electric window switches.

This reto toggle switch panel he has is verrrrrrrrrrrrry tasty. Anyone know if they do they them retro ones for an electric window application like i want to do as well as where to get all the other bits needed.

Hope you can point me in the right direction people.

O.

Radionics would be able to help there with switches and lights, google the name, last time I dealt with them they were based near Rialto

Maplins are another potential source

That's pretty cool. I looking in to making such a device for sale a couple of years ago, but the standard gear lever is very fat until just before the knob, so I felt that yu would then have to change the gear lever too to make a thin shaft ( I hope no one has a dirty mind!) to work between the gate, so decided it was all getting a bit expensive.

I guess this one is quite high up on the gear lever, so there not a lot that sticks out the top?

No, in the picture there are two electric window switches left and right of the gear stick, just wondering what the other 4 would be doing. If you're gonna put standard toggle switch to your window circuits then make sure they're not just an on/off assembly
